Ha transcurrido más de año y medio desde que unos amigos me introdujeron en el mundillo del wargaming a través de Flames of War. Debo admitir que en el pasado los productos de GW nunca me llamaron la atención, así que pasé por alto los juegos de miniaturas para concentrarme en otros hobbys. Sin embargo, la historia militar siempre me ha interesado, sobre todo la del siglo XX, y esa fue mi perdición, ya que Battlefront se toma en serio el componente histórico en sus juegos.
Mi intención es usar "Unternehmen Morgenstern" para llevar una crónica de mis diversos wargames y de las unidades que vaya ensamblando y pintando, ya sean maquetas de plástico o figuras de metal. Asimismo pienso incluir datos históricos, informes de batalla y recursos útiles que encuentre en Internet, junto con mis pensamientos aleatorios. Principalmente estará enfocado en la IIGM a 15mm, con Flames of War, pero con intenciones de expandirme a otros sistemas de juego y períodos, como la Guerra Fría en 20mm con Force on Force y la Edad Media en 28mm con Impetus.

More than a year and a half ago, some friends of mine lured me into the world of wargaming through Battlefront's Flames of War game. I must admit that miniature games I had seen in the past (GW) never caught my eye, so I simply overlooked them and focused on other hobbies. However, military history has always interested me, especially 20th Century, and that was my downfall... since guys at Battlefront take the historical component really seriously in their wargames!
I will be using "Unternehmen Morgenstern" to chronicle my diverse wargaming activities, as well as a record of my unit production line, including assembling and painting plastic kits or metal figures. I will also include some historical data, After Action Reports and useful resources I find on the Internet, all sprinkled with my random thoughts. I intend to focus on 15mm FoW for a start, but I'm open to other gaming rulesets and historical periods as well, like 20mm Cold War (Force on Force) and 28mm Middle Ages (Impetus).
I hope you find it useful or at least entertaining.
